About Alice
​
Alice began her legal career by defending victims of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and then transitioned to representing insurance companies. Dissatisfied with the impersonal nature of that practice, she left and joined the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, she tried or wrote appellate briefs for cases ranging from misdemeanors to first degree felonies.
She left the District Attorney’s Office to form her own practice in 2018. She has obtained countless dismissals all over Texas for both misdemeanors and felonies—including a murder case that was dismissed for insufficient evidence.

Alice was born in Brownsville, Texas and is a fluent Spanish Speaker. She graduated high school from TMI Episcopal in San Antonio. She went to the University of North Texas for her undergraduate studies and attended law school at Baylor University on an academic scholarship. While in undergrad, she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and was a college athlete for the university's triathlon team. In law school, she competed nationally in both moot court and mock trial competitions. She was awarded second best speaker at the 2011 Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C.
